To make the BT robot stop reading SMSs to you over the phone ...
Previously, I've been very excited about sending SMS messages from my land line telephone. I'm less happy receiving them though (on the work phone, which can't display them ...)
Phone 0800 587 5252 to have the messages stop. Annoyingly this is a different number to the Caller ID that is displayed when you receive a new message. (If you phone that number back, the robot just tells you that you have no new messages!).
We had to do that today because we got 3 calls telling us that we'd been sent new messages, but that they couldn't be read to us because they were either pictures, sound or music, or untranslatable text. Very annoying.
